Saturday 15th November marked the much-anticipated return of our High Spirits Harmony collaboration with the wonderful men of Adelaide Vocal Union, in a delightfully Christmas-adjacent concert at the beautiful Burnside Ballroom.

Now, we know opinions differ on when it’s socially acceptable to dust off the tinsel — some of you are ready as soon as the Christmas Pageant rolls through town, while others prefer to ease into the festive spirit a little more gently. So, we designed a program to suit everyone. Each choir performed a set of non-Christmas favourites, including two brand new mixed-voice pieces — and yes, recordings are coming soon, so watch this space!

Then it was time to sprinkle in some Christmas cheer… with a twist. Think festive favourites without the predictable carols, plus a couple of joyful combined numbers to really bring the season to life.
